Yesterday, Boris Johnson was elected to lead the Conservative Party. Later this afternoon, he will go to the Palace where Her Majesty the Queen will ask him to form a Government.
One or two important issues to note. Over half of Conservative MPs, 160 in total, voted to put Boris Johnson onto the last two with Jeremy Hunt, who got through with the support of 77 MPs. 87.4% of Party members took part in the final round, and Boris secured 66% of those who voted.
It is no secret that I supported Jeremy Hunt. But as a loyal member of the Conservative Party, I will give Boris Johnson my complete support as leader of our party and Prime Minister of our country.
In the coming days, Boris Johnson will form his Cabinet and Government. One thing I do know about Boris Johnson is his ability to surround himself with excellent people, and to delegate.
Boris may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I hope, like me, people will give him a chance to see what he can do as Prime Minister.
At the moment with the failure of Parliament on all sides renegading on their promise to respect the eu referendum regardless my belief, interest and respect is at the most all time low that I’ve ever had.
Seeing Priminister Johnson on his first address to the commons was like a battleship firing salvo after salvo at the opposition as well as throwing the ball back to all the MPs about their obligation to respect the referendum.
He has certainly put a nail in Mr Corbyns coffin with his being paid by the Iranian state owned broadcasters and asking is he fit to be in charge of our security and quite frankly he frightens me on what he would do as pm.
He really was a breath off fresh air after the previous lack lustre pms after Lady Thatcher.
My worry is is he another Priminister with rhetoric and hot air or a man who will be as good as his word and do the things he says.
Like I said earlier this as a voter is the last chance before I loose my faith in parliament as a whole please could you let me know what you truthfully think and like you have to keep confidences I to promise not to repeat anything because to me trust is so important.
Yours sincerely

Dear Royston
I hope that you are well as I haven’t spoken to you in a while but you helped me a lot while dealing with Canberra Towers and the work that needed to be done to the building.
After this i have been following yourself and the Conservative Party more closely and had a more thorough interest in politics.
I would like to say how impressed I am to see that Boris Johnson is now our new Prime Minister I feel that he can give the country exactly what’s needs to bring it to its greatness again.
I’m sure that you will work brilliantly together and I hope the press is not correct in people wanting to remove him before his even properly began.
Thanks sara
I voted leave in the referendum but I did not vote to leave without a trade deal.
It seems very clear to me that Boris Johnson and the idiots who comprise the current cabinet have their sights set on a no deal brexit and have no intention of even trying to negotiate with the EU. But it will be the EU that he will blame for for it, just as he will blame the Irish for the backstop.
If they think Donald (America First). is going to turn up trumps for them, forget it, not going to happen.
We now have the worst cabal of clowns “running the country”, this century, they are clueless.
Boris may be a buffoon and good for a laugh, but it’s this country and it’s people who will pay the price, not him or whoever is pulling his strings.
We may live in interesting times, they are also dangerous times.
Chris.
