I was pleased to be able to attend the ceremony to mark the 100th anniversary of the award of the Victoria Cross to Commander Daniel Beal D.S.O., M.C., R.N.V.R for his act of bravery during the First World War today.

Dear Sir, I have been a steady supporter of the conservative party since I was old enough to vote at age 21 in 1960. I was one of those who voted to join a common European market. It made good sense at that time as there was no question of us becoming part of a political union with Europe. Consequently I now fully support leaving this travesty we are now part of. If you wish to retain my support please do not give into the EU as some other countries have done when told to go back and vote again until they they produced the required answer. I have lived through too many hard times to give into these self appointed leaders who are only there to feather their own nests.
    Yours sincerely.
