My View on Immigration
There is no doubt that the decision to open the UK’s borders to uncontrolled immigration was a mistake but we can’t turn back the clock.
Part of the renegotiation on our future involvement in Europe must address the free movement of people throughout the European Union but we must also
protect our borders, our jobs, our health service and our welfare system.
For almost 20 years I have been campaigning for a EU renegotiation and Referendum – these decisions should be made in Westminster, not in Europe, and should reflect the views of you – the residents of Southampton.
