At midnight tonight I will no longer be the Member of Parliament for Southampton Itchen. I have served the city both locally and nationally for over 25 years but now it’s time to move on to new challenges. It’s an overused statement, but it really has been the honour of my life.

Constituency Garden of Remembrance


On behalf of my constituents in Southampton Itchen, I planted a cross in Parliament's Constituency Garden of Remembrance located in New Palace Yard by the Palace of Westminster. The Garden will remain in place until Remembrance Sunday, November 12 and will contain a stake representing each of the 650 constituencies of the United Kingdom.

Southampton Jobs Fair
