I was pleased to attend Alzheimer’s Research UK’s drop-in event in Parliament. Alzheimer’s Research UK is the leading dementia charity in the UK working to revolutionise the way we treat, diagnose, and prevent dementia.
Almost 1 million people are living with dementia in the UK today and Alzheimer’s Research UK are working to establish the UK as a world leader in dementia research. Research funding for dementia will rise to a total of £160 million a year by 2024, with an additional £95 million being provided to increase clinical trials and research projects.
