It’s really good news that Southampton is leading the way with a new trial coronavirus saliva test. This new test will be offered initially to GP staff and other key workers and their households.

This ground-breaking new test is simpler and faster than the existing swab tests which many find to be uncomfortable and difficult to do at home. It is good to see our city at the forefront of finding new ways to fight coronavirus which will benefit us all
