It was great to meet the new publicans of The Obelisk, Robin and Natalia Wheeler and to see the improvements they have made since they arrived.

They are keen for The Obelisk to be a community pub with a much improved welcoming family friendly garden. They have a brilliant new play area and I was especially pleased to meet the three new pygmy goats who will be greeting customers from their new home in the beer garden.

The Obelisk is well worth a visit and good luck to Robin and Natalia with their plans for the next few months!
