It was a pleasure to welcome Paul Langston from Sholing Junior School to Downing Street last week. Paul was among a number of teachers invited to Number 10 by the Prime Minister, who personally thanked them for their hard work.

73% per cent of schools in my constituency are now rated good or outstanding and across the country 1.9 million more children are now attending good or outstanding schools, compared with 2010. On top of this 825,000 new school places have been created nationally since 2010.
