I was really pleased to join the Sholing Valleys Study Centre yesterday as they received the 2017 Southampton Green Open Spaces Award. This was awarded by the City of Southampton Society and SCAPPS.
Freemantle Common in Bitterne was presented with a Highly Commended certificate and local Councillor Alex Houghton was on hand to collect this.
