Southampton Scrapstore is holding an open day on Saturday 11th March between 10.30 and 12.30. The Scrapstore is a registered charity that collects from businesses who have agreed to donate surplus, reject and waste materials of every conceivable type and kind that are suitable for re-use in educational, play or arts and crafts activities.
You can become a member of the Scrapstore for an annual fee, or a one-off fee for events. This entitles you to collect all sorts of things – the list of materials is both endless and ever-changing, although they do usually have certain items in store, such as, paper, cardboard, sticky back plastic, fabrics and cardboard tubes to name but a few!
