This saw many excellent projects put forward proposals for funding, with local residents deciding on the amounts awarded. Always an interesting event and also nice to catch up with numerous familiar faces and friends.

Action On Hearing Loss have launched their Working For Change campaign aimed at helping change the attitude of employers around employing people who are deaf or hard of hearing. This is a very important campaign and one I hope employers will engage with.
The rights and privileges of EU Citizens living in the UK should be guaranteed as quickly as possible. All the EU Member States have to do is guarantee the same rights and privileges to UK nationals who reside in other EU countries.
