Earlier this week I attended the Group B Strep Support to prevent life threatening infections in newborn babies.
Group B Strep is the UK’s most common cause of life threatening infection in newborn babies and of meningitis in babies under 3 months.
I have tabled a question to the minister to see what is being done to ensure the gold-standard test is being used in the NHS.
