At the kind invitation of Head Teacher Liz Filer I visited Valentine Primary School in Sholing yesterday to witness the Graduation of 18 families from the Families and Schools Together (FAST) programme.

This is the first time I have come across this programme and it was a privilege to speak with the families involved to hear about how the FAST programme has changed the way they support their children and interact as families.

Valentine Primary are the first school in Hampshire to complete this programme and I truly believe that the school, the teachers, the support staff and the families deserve enormous credit for the success of this programme.
