I am really pleased to have led the selection panel which has appointed Dave Curry as the new Chief Fire Officer of Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service. I have worked with Dave since he joined us from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service 10 years ago. We needed to find an exceptional talent to fill the shoes of retiring Chief, John Bonney. In Dave I am completely confident we have done that and in so doing ensured the future success of Hampshire Fire and Rescue.
