Yesterday I attended the public consultation for the Royal Pier Development. Developers were asking the public for their ideas about what they would like to see included in the scheme.

The redevelopment will not be completed for many years but at least it has moved a step closer. Dozens of Southampton residents attended the consultation in the city’s Westgate Hall confirming just how much interest there is in creating a waterfront Southampton can be proud of.
