Royston Smith, Leader of Southampton Conservatives

Royston Smith is the former Leader of Southampton City Council and has been the Councillor for the Harefield Ward since May 2000.

He is the Leader of the Conservatives in Southampton and represents Southampton's interests as Chairman of Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority.

He is the Conservative nomination for the Southampton (Eastleigh) Airport Consultative Panel and the Port of Southampton Consultative Committee. He is a governor on the board of Southampton Solent University and a trustee on the Blue Lamp Trust.

Royston stood as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the Southampton Itchen Constituency in the 2010 General Election.
